A tiny pixel that flickers … a sight to see

Our trip to Toronto went well. Traffic was a bit hellish but that is always expected.

The ultrasound showed one sac, one little heartbeat and an embryo measuring 10.4mm. Bang on where it should be for 7w1d. I have some photo’s that I will try and scan later.

My RE has signed off on me. I am now in the hands of my GP and will be referred to an OB in the new year.

Over one hurdle but the fear of another loss is not far from my thoughts. Does that ever go away?

Is that an embryo in your tummy or do you just need to poop? The turkey wasn’t the only thing that was stuffed

Awesome! So happy for you. Beautiful little flicker eh.

    Yay! Congratulations!

Sadly, no – it never goes away. With every milestone met, you look to the next hurdle and just hope to make it over. My son is finally here (and 8.5 months old!) and occasionally I still get DBTs. At least I can check in on him to be sure he’s still breathing!

I’m wishing you all the best for this pregnancy. Merry Christmas!

Who’s that girl?

Me: 36, army wife and mother of two boys. Hoping for "one more miracle". We have tried the adoption route for almost 7 years and have recently changed directions. We are now down this road travelled by many, IF Blvd. 3 diui's, one BFN, two BFP and two heatbreaking miscarriages later we are at a crossroad ... do we try just one more time? Come along for the ride, be sure to have your tables in the upright position and your seatbelt firmly secured ... it is sure to be a bumpy ride.
